Lincoln Mobile Estates Housing Cooperative is a 55 and older, resident-owned manufactured home community in Lincoln, R.I. Lincoln Mobile Estates Housing Cooperative is conveniently located less than five miles from Providence and five minutes from Lincoln Woods State Park. Our ideal setting allows for easy access to beautiful parks, lakes and ponds, and public transportation is right around the corner for access to local amenities. We are a friendly neighborhood for people who love outdoor activities and living in a small town with quick access to major cities nearby.

Lincoln’s Senior Center is a favorite for our residents. Located less than 10 minutes away from our community, it’s a great place for those who love to participate in arts and crafts, bingo, yoga and Zumba classes, just to name a few. Lincoln also has several historic house museums close to our community, including the Hearthside House and the Arnold House.

Lincoln Mobile Estates is owned by the Community Members who live here – we are a resident-owned community (ROC).

We own it

The Member homeowners of Lincoln Mobile Estates control the rent and make the rules. On July 24, 2019, the ROC purchased the land and infrastructure, such as the roads and water lines. Now, a democratically elected Board of Directors manages the business of running Lincoln Mobile Estates. Every Member household in the community has a say in who sits on the Board, how we spend our money, the annual budget, and whether we make changes to the rent.

We’re also part of a national network of more than 300 ROCs just like us. That membership provides us with access to expert coaching on how to run our ROC, leadership development and training, communication with dozens of community leaders who face many of the same issues we do, and more.
